Support Our Mission

"Children...need most of the same things adults need — consideration, respect for their work, the knowledge that they and the things they do are taken seriously" — Caroline Pratt

"I hope you're proud of yourself for the times you've said 'yes', when all it meant was extra work for you and was seemingly helpful only to someone else." — Fred Rogers
Your generous donations impact children and families at Verner during the first 2,000 days of a child’s life when 90% of brain development occurs. High-quality early educational experiences are important for children and families because dynamic brain development early in life is directly linked to success for families later in life.

Give a gift. An investment in a child and family’s education experience supports powerful teacher/parent/child interactions, exceptional learning environments in classrooms and on playgrounds, healthy development and high-quality meals, support for families with diverse and dynamic lived-experiences, and ongoing professional development for teachers.

A parent quote:
“I notice the teachers at Verner going out of their way to connect with me and my child and to build a level of trust that my child sees and appreciates. My child is happy and I am eager to watch her grow!”
