North Carolina Pre-Kindergarten
The NC Pre-Kindergarten Program is a program of the Division of Child Development and Early Education in the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. The program is designed to provide high-quality educational experiences to enhance school readiness for eligible four-year-olds.
Children in the North Carolina Pre-Kindergarten program will receive child care from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday from September through mid June. This program is currently only available at our Verner East location on Riceville Rd.
NC Pre-K is an income-based program and families with children with a developmental or educational need, chronic health conditions and other circumstances may qualify for the program. Please click here to complete the application.
