What do you do at Verner?
My role as the Child Development Coordinator has several facets. I support our kiddos, faculty, and families.  I also coordinate services for Verner families and partner with therapeutic community organizations.

What are your credentials/past experiences, for working in your position?
I have a BS in Psychology from SUNY Oneonta. I started working at Verner in Aug 2016 as the Center Director of Verner Central. In August of 2018 I transitioned into my current role as the Child Development Coordinator. I also taught Pre-K for 10 years when I lived in NY, in addition to directing an after school program for kiddos ages k-5.

What do you like about working at Verner?
I love working in an environment that values relationships, trust, and acknowledgment. I absolutely delight in my time spent with the kiddos at all of our sites, and I get a kick out of seeing cows on my way to work!

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I love to cook, listen to music, and hang out with my dogs and my loved ones.

What's your archetype?
