Teachers deserve to feel good. Teachers deserve to love their job. Teachers deserve to take care of their mental health. Teachers deserve to have energy when they go home to their families.

The Verner
Center for Resilience is driven to become a leader in developing and providing responsive, meaningful, evidence-based clinical services to strengthen personal and professional resilience.

In pursuit of our mission, we strive to create an environment where:
  • Educators feel seen, heard, successful, and supported.
  • Our work with educators is informed by an understanding of how trauma can impact the brain and a person’s ability to learn. We promote resilience and mitigate the effects of trauma throughout our programming. We also provide support services that directly address trauma.

The funding to create this impactful program was made possible by Dogwood Health Trust.
